Moles eat grubs, insects and worms and dig tunnels in your lawn creating mounds of dirt and dead grass.
Voles love to eat the tender roots of plants. Voles can destroy a plant overnight. Look for plants that suddenly look limp or disappear overnight. We carry a variety of repellents for moles and voles.

Important points:
Soil - Use seed starting mix that is lightweight and holds moisture
Temperature - each type has optimal temperature to germinate, but once seeds break through keep soil temp between 70 - 75 degrees.
Light - seedlings need 14 hours of light per day.
Black Oil Sunflower Seeds are meatier and more nutritious than more common striped varieties. They are higher in protein, fiber, calcium, vitamins B and e, potassium and iron.
